I’m a Senior this upcoming fall in high school, and i need to calculate my GPA… I took some High school courses ( french 1 and 2, IPC, Algebra 1) when i was in middle school, so how do they count those grades for the GPA, Does it have advanced grade points, regular, or it just doesn’t count?
Ask your senior guidance counselor these questions. Answers will depend on your state, county, etc.
MOS = Communications/Electronics Maintenance
I am considering these 2 technical jobs
there isnt a set time it depends on the unit your assigned to and where it falls in the deployment rotation
I heard that there are "groups" in high school where people kind fo all hang out and accept each other more, but I’m having problems in middle school right now because nobody will listen to me. Does it get any better in high school, or just worse?
Being a nerd gets cool in high school, you meet more people like you with the same interests, and then you start to realise how genuinely stupid the people calling you names are.
Don’t worry things will get better!
Need sample research papers (middle school level) that contain thesis, introductions, and conclusions to share with students.
You could ask other teachers in your middle school. Ask teachers at the feeder high school. Or ask teachers at other middle school within your school district.
Good Luck….
I am going into 9th grade also and got put into advanced algebra, all it means is you learn the material faster and get a bit more homework.
"Is this an open or closed set for given operation?"
a) set of odd whole #s for multiplication
b) set of whole #s less than 100 for addition
c) set of all whole #s whose units digits are 6 for multiplication
a)/c) are closed….b) is open, please explain!
a) When you multiply two odd whole numbers the answer is an odd whole number. That is why the set of odd whole numbers is closed with respect to multiplication.
b) 100 and 1 are both less than 100 but when you add them you get 101 which is not less than 100. That is why the set of whole numbers less than 100 is NOT closed with respect to addition.
c) When you multiply a number that ends in 6 times another number that ends in 6 the answer ends in 6. That is why the set of whole numbers which end in 6 is closed with respect to multiplication.
1. why is the sky blue? why is a sunset red?
2. how does an elevator work? how to make a model of an elevator?
if not, could u give cool but easy science fair projects with experiments?
your answers are appreciated
well anything is a science fair project as long as you can
create a hypothesis
perform experiments to prove or disprove your hypothesis
and form a conclusion.
so im pretty sure you can do both topics.
I’m doing a debate for school and my team does not think middle schools should drug test for extracurricular activities. Please give me your opinion and why you think that. I could use the help! A.S.A.P! My debate is next week.
First look at statistics. See if you can find how many confirmed cases of middle school students have used drugs for their ECs. If that number is extremely low, best thing to do is talk about how inefficient it is to administer the test. Talk about the money wasted in doing so if only a few kids are known to do it. Or offer an alternative with more education of the dangers of drugs for students.
I want my son to get some self-guided, web-based practice in middle school math. It doesn’t have to be free! I just want something other than a generic practice site, something that actually reteaches (or teaches) skills systematically.

i am stuck, im in 8th grade and i have some thinking to do: have fun now in middle school, meet someone special or work hard now have fun later and/or be a total loser with no friends in middle or high school ?! please help im confused!
I got really good grades in middle school and still had a blast and now Im a junior in high school and I have a 3.6 gpa which is pretty good but not as good as in middle school. But Im having so much fun in high school and I love it! Best years of my life so far!!! I think I could do a little better academically but then I would be working too hard and not have as much time for my friends. But I don’t have a lot to worry about cause I have a full 4 year scholarship for golf to Georgia State.
