Right now I’m working to complete a bachelors degree in biochemistry and molecular biology I’m also working toward a specialization in international development. In addition to this, I have been studying Arabic for two years now at my university. I would really just like to really tie my academic program together and find a meaning career. I haven’t taking any education classes, but this seems like a good direction to head in. I’m passionate about the idea of ending poverty through the education on girls, and I think after a rough four years I’m still interested in science.
whoa! That has a lot of grammar issues. I would just like to assure people in internet land that I do indeed know how to use proper grammar ![]()
Make a lesson plan get it checked by an experienced peer, and correct if there are any mistakes, then go and teach it confidently..
i need to read a book about china india or the middle east for school and i cant find anything. it should be nonfiction, maybe historical fiction, maybe a novel, and hopefully interesting and not too long. i like fantasy and sci-fi so that might make the book more interesting to me. any suggestions?
"Children of Jihad," Jared Cohen, is good; he graduated Stanford 2004, Oxford Rhodes Scholar 2006, and traveled to Iran and met and partied with many students there. He now works in the State Department. The book is about the students he met, and Iranian society,
"Psychonavigation," by John Perkins (of "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" and "Secret History of the American Empire" fame) earlier wrote this based on his travels, encountering shamanic practices.
"China’s Super Psychics," Paul Dong. PD is a chi gong master, based in the U.S., with many contacts in PRC and ROC. Excellent book on what’s happening (e.g., the CP giving receptions for a thousand leading Party dignitaries at which little children cause a thousand tightly closed, out of season buds, each held by a dignitary, to blossom in minutes).
"Autobiography of a Yogi," Yogananda, http://www.yogananda-srf.org Great insight into India.
"Gandhi, the Man: The Story of His Transformation," Eknath Easwaran, Ph.D. http://www.easwaran.org Dr. Easwaran was a professor of English Literature at U. C. Berkeley.
"To Live Within," Lizelle Reymond’s memoir about study in the East. Professor of Religion Dr. Jacob Needleman described her book as bringing a new insight to the West.
"The Station of No Station," Henry Bayman’s very good account of his Sufi Teacher.
"The Teachers of Gurdjieff," Rafael Lefort. A Muslim explanation of Gurdjieff’s travels.
"Long Pilgrimage," John G. Bennett; Bennett met the gentleman who is the subject of this biography; according to official Indian birth records, he lived over 120 years; he walked around the earth ages 50-85, staying in England as Queen Victoria’s advisor, at her request, until she should pass on. He accepted no students, lived in the forest, having given his great wealth early on to his twin sister, but gave wisdom to Bennett.
I have to make a pamblet for school advertising canada to the middle east, what are their flaws, compared to canada?
thanksC:!
Personally if have been the the middle east and its beautiful, dont listen to CNN and the local news, all lies. Yah since theres a war there thats a verry bad thing but other than that really its very nice.
Is there any Habitat for Humanity type volunteer organization in the middle east? I’m looking to organize and write a grant proposal for a small team to go into the middle east and help construct homes/schools/safe water supplies. I was just wondering if anyone knew of anything similar in the area. Also any suggestions, concerns, and advice will be more than appreciated. Thank you in advance

This could happen , if the Middle East has a WWIII, have to admit its really unstable in Iran and Pakistan and they don’t like us very much. We have 4 Oil Co. bids on Iraq Oil and that will help, but if Obama wins and takes out our troops Al Qaeda and Taliban take over Iraq we have No Oil . We depend on them. If one day we got no more oil from the Middle East cause we have more oil in the US than the entire Middle East does but Congress don’t want to drill it up – how the heck would the School Buses run? How do we get to work?Use Vegy oil? I don’t think theres enough vegy oil, then we wont have vegys. Don’t we need to drill for oil? Do majority democrats in Congress want us to have a depression? Thats what Im starting to think, they are against all energy! Should we start cutting down trees and stocking up on logs for the winter?
Do you think Congress has investments in the alcohol and Crisco ? What is going on!?
Why is 100 majority Congress members making 300 MILLION people who pay taxes to the gov’t ignore what we want? What makes them so special? 76% of the population wants to DRILL our oil!
Democrats in Congress against drilling are ruining alot of peoples lives and I don’t think they even care!
I think Democrats Hate Oil companies so much that they are subborn and not thinking that they are HURTING our country!
Get Over it Congress and just DRILL! Before China Gets OUR OIL! They are drilling 60 miles from our oil source and will eventually be using a big straw getting all of ours!

Yes, our government has been working toward bringing down the middle class for a while now. They are scared of the people that want it to change. They want us broke and using public transit so we go where they take us when they want us to. They have found willing partners with the envior"mental"ists that want the same. The worship of earth has replaced the worship of God.
I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, there are a few oil drilling riggs here. Thats where the fish are. Go figure. A real enviormentalist would want us to drill our own oil so we can make it as enviormentaly safe as possible. Do you really think the arab terrorists produce oil with the best interests of the earth in mind?
My friend says in the middle east, sex is not taught in school and parents dont talk about it to their kids (those that are old enough to know). So where do they learn about it before they go into marriage?
lol, you are seriously implying that in the middle east, people do not know how to have sex.
Hmm…I wonder why they keep having kids…

wht sort of a personality do teens usually like ?
yea, it’s a private british school in the middle east..
I’m a teen and the popular people are usually the ones who are stupid, act like the class clown, and just act up, so I advise you to be yourself and be sociable so people will get to know you for who you are rather than some mask you’re hiding behind and you’ll get to know others better. Smile, be kind, but not too kind, you don’t want to get taken advantage of (THAT STINKS). Just start a conversation with somebody and you might make a new friend. You can help people out, but if someone says "I just need an answer to #8, and they ask you for your homework paper, they’re going to copy all the answers. There are groups of kinds of teens. Just be yourself. People will or won’t like you for who you are, but hiding behind a mask is even worse because when you reveal your true personality, your popular friends will probably drift away. In Junior High and High School, most girls go out with the cute guys, but as you get into college and maybe a little older, you’re more distinguished by your personality. There are exceptions.
