is not a muslim country?
Religion cannot be taken into account for such things. They are not relevant.
Muslims believe in Christ, Moses and God (Yes the same God as Christians) Why Europe advance while Many Countries in Africa are not. They are Christian as well.
To me, it is more about the history. If you learn about the Middle East history, you will know. How much she has suffer. What is actually the causes for many people to become terrorists.
Moreover, I think the most advance country in the Middle East is United Arab Emirate. It is a Muslim Country YES.
do you still have to take pre medical course? like bio chem physics. What if some courses are not offered?
The entrance requirements to US medical schools are inviolate–you must meet them or you cannot be accepted. In addition, most US medical schools require a foreign educated student to attend at least one year at a US undergrad university before applying to a medical school, even if you have studied all of the prerequisite courses. If you present a medical school with a foreign transcript you will asked to have it assessed by a foreign transcript assessment company. There are several in the US.

AMMAN — The government plans to launch a pilot project next month to help rehabilitate some of Jordan’s school dropouts, estimated to form two per cent of 985,000 pupils at 2,750 state-run schools, officials said Tuesday.

Here is one for Syria 2007
In rural Syria, drop-out rates are reaching as high as 45 percent because children leave school to work or to participate in traditional seasonal migration.

I live in the middle east, i know, it starts at around 0700 in the morning, and finishes about 1300, we go to school like sunday to friday and our weekend is saturday only
I’m a 22yr old who is finishing up a Biology Bachelors degree. I really have been wanting to go to the Middle East since high school and be a medic. I have been looking it to courses to do that. The military is out of question for many different reasons. Please help; I haven’t been able to find a "red cross" type organization that would pay (since I have to pay loan back and don’t have money accumulated to live off of.) me to do such work. Everyone is asking for experienced volunteers and I can’t do either, but I’m willing to give up my life until I’m 30 to go where ever and do what ever need to get done.
(I would get the training here, and would go to get experience there. I’m not expecting them to only hire inexperience people, usually people are paired up(even if they aren’t always working side by side). However, even locally I would have to deal with half burnt people, critically ill.)
Maybe you could try ‘Medecins Sans Frontieres’ (’Doctors without borders’) and see if they have a position for a trainee or someone like you, not fully trained, but willing to learn&gain the necessary experience. This is their international site:
