I am not looking for a specific textbook. Any middle school textbook is fine. I need to read one for a college assignment.

I don’t think the full text is online. Textbooks have websites to go along with the text that have review and practice tests and things like that, but the entire text I don’t think so.

I was pursuing a degree in education (elementary), but decided it would be more cost effective to change to nursing. Will this market be flooded soon as well? I live in Michigan and I need to change professions.

I think qualified teachers can find a job anywhere.

I want to get my Bach. AND Masters degree in the SAME school. What are good colleges for that? I NEED the college to be North Carolina.

UNC Chapel Hill is far and away the best state school in NC. It’s actually one of the better state schools in the nation.

As you may already be aware, if you want to be a schoolteacher, it’s best to get your degree in the state you want to live in afterwards. This is because while you are an undergraduate, the education faculty and advisors will put you on the path toward teaching certification, which is conferred by the state.

The UNC School of Education offers both bachelor’s (one option is specifically in Middle Grades Education) and Master’s degrees in Education. The graduate programs there are extremely reputable.

What does it take to be a middle school math teacher in the state of CA, Washington State, NE, TX, NY, and AZ???

Requirement depends on the state. In arizona you have to go to school as an elementary ed major, then you have to take your AEPA which are tests. The AEPA is taken before you enter student teacher so you have to pass them before you can start student teacher. After student teaching you graduate and can apply for a job.

i need a 1st year middle school math book, can anyone give suggestions on which books to choose from? the one that can be used for one on one tutorials? and if possible, the same ones used in international schools??

this must be what your textbook uses; every textbook is different. These are not standard symbols for this type of numbers. I think your book uses these as shortcuts so it doesn’t have to spell out each of these works everytime that they are used.

Hi, I am starting a new job this September. I will be teaching 6th 7th and 8th grade Math. I have been searching all over for some fun projects to do with the kids that will fit in with the curriculum
