I have to take a science entrance exam in Jan., and I was wondering how on earth the essay portion would like, what kind of sample questions do you think a middle school science student would get in the form of a 3 paragraph essay?
1. In your own words explain how the planets were formed? (assumption)
2. Why is it that Pluto is no longer a planet?
3. Explain how Tuberculosis and Dysentery affect a human’s body.
4. What is AIDS, how is i transmitted and why can’t humans find a cure?
5. How can global warming affect the world.
i will go to a community college
That’s dependent to a large extent on the state you’re in. I will warn you that a community college might not be able to get you all the way through, what you’re looking for will require at least a bachelor’s degree and if you’ve got any sense you’ll work right away toward a Master’s degree. You’ll need it anyway and it’s more money with a Master’s. I highly recommend you put in a call to the college and start asking questions. They are best equipped to get you on the right path, and it’s their job to know the specific questions relevant to the state you live in. I’m a science teacher, by the way. If you need more advice, feel free to write me at fortitudinousskeptic@yahoo.com
I’ll do whatever I can to help you get started.
Anyway, to start off the community college may work but you may end up transferring later on. Best of luck to you!
An internal investigation concluded that Freshwater burned students with a high-frequency generator and preached his Christian beliefs in class.

how are we ever going to get away from this stuff?
Hi there !
God is truth …God is not a religion.
Why are there still segregated schools ….
Why are there still segregated grave yards…..
Why …as the Bible has always pointed out that man will always dominate man to his own injury?
Why do we bury Nuclear waste and make it another generations problem?
Why did the bible always say men were ruining the earth?
I agree that was one among many stupid things man has done .
I need a good middle school science fair project that follows the scientific method.Thank You for your anwsers!

My school district is going to switch to the ACT for its standards based test. Does anyone know what the ACT middle school science test looks like. Are they similar to the college version?
It would be similar, you could find some of the ACT preparation books for the college test and that might help you

I’m in the 7th grade but its for a 7-8th grade science fair. It needs to be a sort of complicated project. There are no WHY or HOW questions allowed.
Judges like projects that appear to attempt to solve real world problems. You could do, "Which color of light shines brightest through fog?" That could be applied to car headlights and the like. Think of things that a real world problems that people need solved. You could do:
Which type of windvane in most accurate?
Which wing design on a paper airplane flies the farthest?
What type of music makes plants grow the best?
In high school we have to do a 200 word abstract that belongs in the front of our research paper. So it’s very important, unless you want points counted off.
Hi. I need middle school-level science project ideas for my science fair. Please don’t make it too complicated as I need to have it by April 16th. Also, please no links, because if you send me a link, I’ve probably been to that site a dozen times already.
Thanks SO much!
By the way, I live in the city, so I have no yard for backyard demonstrations/experiments/projects. Thanks.
Just construct a wind mill with the help of cycle wheel and funnel on its circumference. This will drive a small generator. You can use any toy motor and connect it via belt to increase the speed. You can connect LED to show the illumination.
