I really want to be a part of the in crowd and i think that since I’m going to be in a new school it’s an opportunity to try. I need an answer quickly i only have a few weeks to prepare.

At thirteen, most people are not exactly beauty queens. So unless you are extremely overweight or have a severe case of facial acne, I think that this is not as important as confidence. However, do try to look your best at all times for the first couple of weeks. You may not realize this, but if you act like you are really pretty, most people will end up thinking that you are really pretty.

The confidence thing is the most important. When you get to your new school, DO NOT act shy, or scared or intimidated. Pretend that you’re in your old school, and its a normal day. Talk to people and introduce yourself, smile a lot as this makes people more comfortable, and try to say people’s names a lot.

When you recognize the popular in-crowd (and believe me you will find them easily), do not let them realize that you are intimidated. They need to think that they are missing something by not befriending you, don’t act snobbish or rude, but let them feel that you were popular in your old school and you will be popular in your new school, with or without them.

Good luck. Remember, if you act like you are pretty or popular, people will believe that you are pretty and popular.

And I am hoping to attend a middle school next year. My first school of choice is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and my second is Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. I have very good grades, the only problem is both my parents are muggles. Is there any chance I could get in? And how would I apply without receiving a letter? Serious question, please help.

At least one of your parents have to be a Wizard/Witch, and they send you the letter, you can’t just write to them on your own. If you are meant to be in their school then you will recieve a letter, if not, then I guess you are a muggle. :(

I joined clubs and met local people from other schools there, I did this a long time ago and gradually got to know their friends and then my friends had other friends from otherschools and I went to meet them too. Last night I went to a local hang out place with friends and met someone new so yeah!:D

6 grade is when you go into middle school and 8th grade is when you leave 9th grade thru 12th grade is highschool. some school districts may do it differently but thats how mine works

Most Catholic schools are broken into just elementary schools (K-8) and high schools (10-12).

Before I can actually write this, I need to know if there is a law already or in the making.

Such a law would be at the local level, and we don’t know where you live. And even if we did, there’s no way the city would pass a law that would make it harder for local businesses to make a legitimate profit, and would lower sales tax revenue.

If there’s a problem with the students going to the restaurants, it can easily be solved by closing the campus.

Your middle school transcripts can only be requested through your parents …
You would have a better chance requesting a report card for the current year
through your administrator or counselor.

There should be standards. In the US, we have national visual arts standards. which feed into our state standards, which feed into our district’s standards. In middle school, you should get as varied an experience in media as your system can afford, and you should be learning how the elements of art and the principles of design work in harmony to create good art.
