Not too very long ago, I saw a normal looking 4th grader cuss out his mother. They were shopping for whatnot, and he just yelled at her as a result of his selfishness because she wouldn't get him his poptarts. Now I do realize that this could be the result of laxed parenting or perhaps the example of an aggressive father, but where did he learn to cuss? These weren't regular old potty mouth words either. This is the stuff that MTV and youtube has on all the time. This kid was yelling R-rated words! (heh, well pg-13 words now. That even proves my point some). Our culture has dumbed down what should be punished or looked down upon. Cussing is starting to become "acceptable" in society, but at 10 years of age?! If banned books are taken out of middle school, that's just one less influence on those children's lives to behave inappropriately and out of character
References :
If you live in California, you need to take LOTS of science classes. You need to be able to pass the teacher tests in science that prove you know your subject matter. Here in CA, you have to get your bachelors degree, hopefully in the subject you want to teach. Then you have to go to graduate school to get your teaching credential. That's about 2 years of graduate education. If you are lucky you'll get into a program that will give you a masters degree and a teaching credential at the same time. But no matter where you live, you need to check with your state board of education and your local university/universities to see what the exact requirements are for your area.
References :
1. Middle School lays down the basics. If your sort of bored at Middle School your going to like High School more (education wise)

2. High Schools look at your middle school marks. Depending on what high school you want to get into, you could actually get rejected admission, unless it's your "Home/Designated " School. I know some friends who wanted to get into Art based High Schools, some tech, and others for an IB program. Some got rejected. Honours Math as well. If you really have a passion for something, you get into the High school ( because of your Middle School grades) then move up into High School , then college. That's why it matters.
