  • How can I teach science to young girls (maybe middle or high school) in the Middle East?

Posted by admin on February 13th, 2010 and filed under east middle school | 3 Comments »

Right now I’m working to complete a bachelors degree in biochemistry and molecular biology I’m also working toward a specialization in international development. In addition to this, I have been studying Arabic for two years now at my university. I would really just like to really tie my academic program together and find a meaning career. I haven’t taking any education classes, but this seems like a good direction to head in. I’m passionate about the idea of ending poverty through the education on girls, and I think after a rough four years I’m still interested in science.
whoa! That has a lot of grammar issues. I would just like to assure people in internet land that I do indeed know how to use proper grammar :)

Make a lesson plan get it checked by an experienced peer, and correct if there are any mistakes, then go and teach it confidently..

no idea. :) hope you get a proper answer though, raven. I think you are smart enough to figure it out on your own. You just have to figure out what works for you and what your students respond to best. What you plan out beforehand may not necessarily work once you get there and start. So maybe just have a idea of what you want to teach and once you get there and start out, see how the kids respond to it and adjust accordingly. Not sure if im making sense but…eh.
