I’m not failing or anything, but if colleges only look at your grades from high school..then what’s the point of doing so well in middle school?
I’ve gotten in trouble 2 times in middle school..like one time I plagiarized for music class because I forgot that there was an assignment due. IS that going to affect anything?

Grades in middle school determine weather you get into advanced and ultimately AP classes in high school.

So you don’t flunk your classes is about it.
That and so your parents won’t whack up up-side your head for bringing home bad grades.

in my school system, the grades you got in middle school determined the classes you took in high school, which colleges do care about…so if you do not great in middle school, they might only let you take the basic classes, not the college prep classes in high school, always do you best!

Good grades mean that you have learned at least a good portion of what has been taught. If you have not learned anything in middle school and then go to high school you will fail miserably.
The things that you learned in elementary school served a basis for middle school. The things you learn in middle will school help you with high school. Hence colleges only look at high school grades. If you did well in high school then you had to of learned something before then as well.

If you start to slack off now, then imagine how you will be in High School. The learning process grows each year for your brain. I personally have to get all A’s because i want to make sure i succeed in high school. My father says if i get a scholarship, then i can get any car i want. Your parents will be very proud as you will. Andif you think it isnt "cool" to get all A’s i happen to be very popular and succeed my grade. Bottom line, work hard.

1. Middle School lays down the basics. If your sort of bored at Middle School your going to like High School more (education wise)
2. High Schools look at your middle school marks. Depending on what high school you want to get into, you could actually get rejected admission, unless it’s your "Home/Designated " School. I know some friends who wanted to get into Art based High Schools, some tech, and others for an IB program. Some got rejected. Honours Math as well. If you really have a passion for something, you get into the High school ( because of your Middle School grades) then move up into High School , then college. That’s why it matters.
