would it be hard to find a job teaching italian in elementary and middle school in new jersey? i am thinking of majoring in italian and elementary ed. do you think it would be a better idea to just do italian and secondary ed? i’m not so sure….
You should check with the school districts in NJ that you are interested in teaching for, but truthfully, Italian is not one of the major languages offered in US schools; rather they are Spanish, French, and German. Of course you could consider teaching for a Community College or even a University. Good luck.
