How will a middle school suspension effect my chances of getting into a good college?

In middle school, I was suspended for writing mean stuff about a girl in a yearbook. Will this limit my chances of getting into a good college?

Colleges do not care about the trouble you were in in middle school. Just don’t mess up in High School.
