I’m in middle school and hoping for a ‘fresh start’. I live in Ontario and I was wondering if I could transfer middle schools without moving.
Yes, you have the ability to transfer schools, as I was planning on doing so this school year as an eighth grader.
You have to talk to your parents first (obviously), and if they are okay with your decision you will have to work with the board of education, as well as the administration at your school. There are a lot of papers to fill out, but it is a possibility that you could opt for if you truly wanted to.

You can as long as your in the school’s zone. A school can’t obligate you to stay there unless you want to.

You might be able to, but since the students are paid for by the town and taxes, you would legally have to pay a "tuition" if you will, by going to school in a different town, while still living in your town now. But this is usually a high amount of money, so you’d be much better just staying in your school. Besides, soon enough you’ll be in high school, then university, and you’ll be paying plenty of money for that.

I don’t know if I’ll be any help because I’m from Las Vegas,
but I’ve switched schools 2 times without moving,
out here, they just ask for a ‘justified’ reason to move.
The teachers suck out here, so that’s the main reason I always switched XD

(I currently attend a magnet school, slightly more happy :/ , lol)
