  • Should middle schools drug test for extracurricular activities?

Posted by admin on November 24th, 2009 and filed under middle schools | 1 Comment »

I’m doing a debate for school and my team does not think middle schools should drug test for extracurricular activities. Please give me your opinion and why you think that. I could use the help! A.S.A.P! My debate is next week.

First look at statistics. See if you can find how many confirmed cases of middle school students have used drugs for their ECs. If that number is extremely low, best thing to do is talk about how inefficient it is to administer the test. Talk about the money wasted in doing so if only a few kids are known to do it. Or offer an alternative with more education of the dangers of drugs for students.
