  • Even though I’m in middle school can i take an online community college class?

Posted by admin on December 13th, 2009 and filed under online middle school | 3 Comments »

I would like to learn a foreign language in middle school and our classes for spanish are filled. I would like to have learned multiple languages by the time I am out of high school. Can i take an online foreign language course at a community college? If so could i use this on my college application in the future? Where do i go find out if this is possible and the cost? Thanks for your help!!!

You will have to check the requirements of the community college.
They might vary, but I think most require you to be either 16 or 18.

If you do learn the language, then you can take an AP test to get possible college credit.

I’m not sure about the online college thing, because some school don’t accept it in middle school, but you could try virtual school.

I dont think that you could take an online class, although maybe you could. the requirement might be that your sixteen though… check with you guidance counselor at school, they should know all about it. Although, i do not recommend taking a college class while in middle school becasue trust me, they are HARD, and high school will better prepare you for them.
