I would find a local homeschooling group, if you’re not in one, and ask others if they’re familiar with it. Maybe they can suggest other online programs.

Also, you can ask the company for references, people who are currently using it and willing to speak with you. Chances are, those people will all be in favor of it, but you’ll be able to ask them specific questions and get a better idea of whether it’s a good fit for your child.

I believe K12 and connectionsacademy are both free progams, although connections is only available in certain states. Best of luck.

   Seems a bit steep. Charity Christian Academy is $150 per year for tuition and books run $250 – $350 per year.

   As long as you don’t over do your budget education is worth how much you put into it. But for myself that much is to much was school were you looking at?

   It doesn’t sound like that much, but depends what you get for that money.
   Look at Sonlight – they cost as much, if not more. But you get everything you need and you know you are using successful curriculum.
   But if you’re on a tight budget, there are many cheaper options.
